Description

TheWorxHub from Dude Solutions paired with K4Community allows resident users to submit maintenance requests with K4Community Plus.

Requirements

K4Community Modules: Team Hub, Plus

  • An active TheWorxHub instance from Dude Solutions

End-To-End Experience

  1. The caregiver user will create a Form in the Team Hub with the “Work Order” destination.
  2. The caregiver user will then create a post in the Post Manager with the link and will publish the post to Plus.
  3. Residents will then be able to see the post in Plus and can submit requests by clicking on the post card and filling out the form.
  4. The request from the resident, once submitted, will be visible in TheWorxHub.
  5. If an update is made to the ticket in TheWorxHub, a resident-specific feed card will appear in the feed of the home section of Plus.

Caregiver User Experience

  1. The caregiver user will create a Form in the Team Hub with the “Work Order” destination.
  2. The caregiver user will then create a post in the Post Manager with the link and will publish the post to Plus.
    1. The post should have the Resources category and the tag Maintenance.

Once the above steps are done, the caregiver will primarily use TheWorxHub tool. All management of tickets is done using TheWorxHub and not K4Community Team Hub.

Resident User Experience

  1. Residents will be able to see a post in Plus (Resources > Maintenance) and can submit requests by clicking on the post card and filling out the form.
  2. A card will then appear in Plus for the active TheWorxHub work order.
  3. If an update is made to the work order in TheWorxHub, a resident-specific feed card will appear in Resources > Maintenance and in the home feed.

Friends & Family User Experience

This integration is not applicable to Friends & Family users.
